Thalys equips its trains with PhotoACTIVE
We are thrilled to introduce you to an innovation that will revolutionize our way of traveling by train. Following our recent award at the ‘Supplier Partner Innovation 2022’ for our solution ‘PhotoACTIVE‘ in the ‘Safety Solution’ category, we are honored to announce that THALYS has decided to implement our PHOTOACTIVE technology across their entire fleet of trains.
THALYS, a pioneer in the railway sector, commits to using our innovative long-term disinfection technology, for a more advanced and effective air purification onboard their trains. This initiative aligns perfectly with the strict standards of the recent Belgian law on indoor air quality.
What is PHOTOACTIVE? It is an innovative disinfection solution that provides lasting protection against viruses and bacteria, while purifying the air in enclosed spaces for a year. Unlike traditional disinfectants, our solution is respectful to the environment and human health.
